This table compares the number of hours spent on various activities by children and adolescents in Australia. This given table elucidates that children within the age range of 11 to 14 spent nearly the most hours weekly on activities that were irrelevant to their school. 6 to 10 age group spent most of their free time watching TV(14), which was exactly two times as high as both doing homework and playing sport(7) and watching TV was followed by playing computer games with 10 hours per week and the least favorite activity belongs to chatting on SNS and others(3 and 2 respectively). The most popular activity that the 11 to 14 age group liked to spend the most was playing computer games(30 hours per week), which was followed by chatting on SNS(25 hours weekly); however, they were willing to spend the same number of hours on watching TV and playing sport(21 hours). Moreover, doing homework and doing other activities had the least popularity among children within this age range(10 and 5 respectively). The 15 to 18 age group exhibited a great desire for spending time chatting on SNS(30), which was noticeably higher than other activities with 8 hours per week. The second most popular activity was doing homework(25) and after that, watching TV(14), and both playing sport and playing computer games with 10 hours in the fourth place.
