The table illustrates the information in the proportion of the population aged 65 and over, and its predictions in three different countries, namely, Canada, Germany, and the UK. From 1998 to 2030. It is evident that the percentage of elderly people in all the countries as mentioned above is predicted to rise continuously. Additionally, German accounts for the highest percentage, while the lowest one can be seen in the UK over the period given. As can be seen from the table, the lowest figure was recorded in the UK at only 14% in 1998, and then it showed a relatively minor change to 15% in 2000. Simultaneously, in comparison with Canada and Germany counterparts at 16% and 20% respectively. By 2030, it is expected that the percentage of people aged 65 and above will witness an increase by 5% in all three countries. The proportion is forecast to reach 20% in Canada, 30% in Germany, and 26% in the UK.
