This table above compares between both gender percentages of their chosen sport participation in the UK during four seasons from 200‪5/2006 to 2008/2009. Overall, at the first glance it can be seen that the most popular sport between males and females is swimming and diving, while the lowest percentages was in jogging and running. To begin with, the In indoor sport which was the most popular kind of sports, all women percentags were over 15%, whereas men percentages was about 4% less than women throughout the period. In 2007/8 and 200‪8/9 males who took part in swimming had a percentages of 12. 2% and 13% in comparison to 16. 8% and 16. 5% of females respectively. Regarding to cycling activites, women rate had a gradual decline from 7% to 6. 4%. However, men number was higher than women and there was a clear inceasing in their percentages from 12. 7% to 14. 4%. In addition, jogging and running get the lowest. participants from both genders which was under 5% for males and under 8% for females.
