The map describes significant development in the seaside village of Seaville over a thirty-year period, from 1980 to 2010. Overall, there are many significant changes between 1980 and 2010. Constructions of infrastructure and amenities had risen throughout areas in the town. In 1980, the Seaville town was tiny with few buildings. There are few holiday cottages and a hotel in the marsh which was located in the south of woodland. Most areas on the western side of the marsh are unoccupied lands except tiny tearoom. Moreover, the east bank, the largest building, was isolated in the east of the river. However, the dramatic change occurred in 2010. Marsh had been drained in order to construct permanent houses as well as replacement of north woodland with a golf course. Although the original hotel had been located in the same position, holiday cottages had been relocated to the opposite east bank which was located along with the new street. Finally, the vacant land had experienced the largest changes. A retirement village had been established in the centre as well as a boat club in the west area of the river. Similarly, the tea room in the beachside had been substituted by a restaurant and high-rise hotel.
