However, this was not the highest sale in 2004, the biggest sale ere in UK by 20 millions of Euros, despite the fact it was very low in 1999 1. 5 millions of Euros. The other 3 countries, Denmark, Belgium, and Sweden witnessed slight changes in sales as 1. 8 to 2, 1 to 1. 7, and 0. 8 to 1 millions of Euros respectively.
Secondly, bananas sales were the highest during 1999 and 2004 in Switzerland where they were 15 millions of Euros and 47 millions of Euros respectively. The amount of sales in 1999 were similar in the other countries where Denmark were 2, followed by Sweden 1. 8, UK 1 and lastly Belgium were 0. 6. In 2004, UK was the second in sales by 5. 5 million of tones followed by Belgium 4. Sweden and Denmark were close to each other by 1 and 0. 9 respectively.
