The presented line chart illustrates how much coffee was exported from Brazil, Colombia and Costa Rica over the 10 year period from 2002 to 2012. The amount is measured in millions of kilograms. In a nutshell, it is apparent that the levels of exports from all 3 countries rose despite some fluctuations over the decade. In the year 2002, Costa Rica exported coffee to other countries more than Brazil and Colombia, standing at 15 million kg. Among the other two, Brazil started with a fairly similar level of coffee production - 12 million kg. However, in the next 4 years, the quantity of coffee from Costa Rica declined almost two fold to 8 million kg. Meanwhile, Brazil and Columbia showed an increase in their coffee production - 15 million kg and 12 million kg respectively. According to the chart, the registered amount of coffee produced continued to rise in Brazil and Costa Rica by the year 2008. On the contrary, Colombia touched the lowest point of 3 million kg in its coffee export during the same period. Later in the next 4 years, Colombia witnessed a significant increase of 12 million kg in its production whereas the other 2 countries also experienced a considerable growth in their coffee export.
