It is clear that the proportion of volunteers by environmental, health care and others increased, while the figures for the rest of the volunteer agency had an opposite trend. Also, Educational was the most significant volunteer agency in 2008 and Environmental in 2014. As can be seen from the chart, In 2008, volunteers for education accounted for the highest proportion, at 24% of the total volunteers. The figures for Environmental and Art were slightly lower, at 21% and 18% respectively. Meanwhile, The proportion of volunteers of Sport and others were relatively the same and below 15% and the lowest figure can be seen in the percentage of the volunteer by health care, at 7%. In 2014, the percentage of volunteers by Environmental went up significantly and became the highest figure in the chart, at 29%. The figure for Health care rose slowly to 8%, while that for others experienced a dramatic fall of nearly 6%. There were marginal decreases to 10. 10% and 9. 10% in the figures for Educational and Art respectively. By contrast, the data of Sport rose sharply and made up for 25%.
