The plans provide information about a public park, the Grange Park at the time of its inauguration in 1920 and its present day condition.
Overall, the maps demonstrate that the Grange Park has undergone various changes from 1902 to present day. While some new features have been added to the park, some features were changed by shifting their sites.
The 1920 map shows, the park could be accessed from the Arnold avenue at North and the Eldon street at south. A large scale fountain at the center of the space dominated the previous drawing. At the left side of the fountain a stage for musicians was located. A pond for water plants occupied the north-east corner of the park. A greenhouse was situated on the right of the south entrance. There were seating arrangements scattered in all sides of the open space.
The contemporary map shows that some feature from the past has been replaced by modern day features. For instance, an amphitheater has been built for concert in place of the music stage that was in previous plan. Moreover, the central fountain has been replaced by a square shaped rose garden with seating on all sides. While the north and south gates are kept the same, an additional entrance for underground car parking has been added later. The water body was exchanged for a children play area. While there was no cafeteria facility in the earlier version, one café has been added in the later one. Furthermore, in place of the glasshouse a natural-like water feature has been added.
