The pie diagrams give information about students choosing various foreign languages in the UK in two years - 2009 and 2014.

The pie charts illustrate the data regarding students opting for numerous overseas languages in the UK in the time period of 2009 and 2014. Overall during both years students prefer French at the top whereas Russian at the lowest proportion. To begin with, in 2009 French has been choosen by around 43 per cent of students in UK whereas just 34 per cent students opted for french in 2014. It has been spoken in higher ratio throughout the period Italian was the second most preferred language in 2009 however around 4 per cent more student opted it in 2014. Moreover Spanish has been third most choosen language by the students. In 2014, it had similar proportion of students as Italian language. Apart from this more than 10 per cent students in UK in 2009 had preferred German language though in 2014 it was exact 10 per cent user In addition, Russian was the least proportion of users throughout the both years.
