The pie charts illustrate the propotion five types of energy production in USA between 1980 and 1990. Overall, in both years, the most significant sourse of energy were oil and coal. While, nuclear power and other types of energy sourses were generated the least amount of energy in USA. At the beginning of the period, energy was produced by natural gas comprised of 26 percent but this showed a decrease by 1 percent in 1990. Coal was generated 22 percent energy in 1980, which rose to 27 percent 10 years later. Hydroelectric power and nuclear power were shown same percent in 1980 eith 5 percent. Nuclear power increased gradually to 10 percent in 1990. Oil was contributed by far the highest percentage of energy resourses, peaking at 42 percent in 1980. However, this type of energy was decreased slightly in 1990 with 33 percent.
