The presented chart depicts the percentage of household in rented and in owned accommodation in England and Wales between 1918 and 2011. Having cast a fleeting glance, it is conspicious that from the year 1918 to the year 1961 the percentage of housedhold in rented accommodation was more as compared to in owned percentage. Firstly, the higher percentage of in rented accommodation was in 1918 then has a slightly fall in 1939 and remained constant upto 1953. Afterward, there was contineous decrease in the year 2001, on the contrary, booseted in 2011. What is more, in the year 1917 the percentage of both was same. Moreover, the percentage of household in owned moved opposite to that of rented one as from 1918 to 2011 it canstantly increased and was higher in the year 2001. Overall, with the passage of time the percentage of in rented houses lowered and percentage of in owned houses houses upsurged.
