The pie charts compare proportions of energy which was produced from different sources in two separated years (1995 and 2005) in one European country (France). Overall, coal and gas produced the most part of all energy in France, while other sources produced the least energy in both years. There was a sharp decrease in production from petro, whereas an increase of nuclear and other energy can be seen in the figures. The amount of energy produced from gas and coal showed a slight increase and constituted slightly above 59% in 1995 and 61% in 2005. These types of sources produced the vast majority of energy in these years. The energy from petro which was the second source of energy in 1995 (about 29%) has dropped by slightly below 20% in 2005. On the other hand, the amount of nuclear and other energy has increased sharply less than double from 11% totally to slightly below 20%
