Overall, Facebook was the most favorite social media channel for three consecutive years However, the rate of Facebook users dropped significantly over the timeframe shown while the most significant fact to emerge is that the use of Twitter, Linkedln, Google+, and Pinterest showed an slight increase. The proportion of Facebook users in 2011 presented more than half of the total figures which is the highest percentage. Even though, this rate fell dramatically to 49% and 38% in two next years, Facebook experienced a sharp fall its position was still in the first place as one of the favorite social media platforms. In contrast, Twitter, Linkedln, Google+, and Pinterest had the widespread application of the social media market annually. Initially, the figure for Twitter stood at 21% in 2011 and slightly increase to 25% in 2013.
