The pie charts below show the production of fruit and vegetables in the 27 countries of the European Union in 2009. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The pie charts provide a breakdown of manufacturing 27 countries in the year 2009. It is noticeable that the production of vegetables more than the production of fruit. The highest proportion in terms of vegetables was other vegetables aud tomatoes, while apples and other fruit were highest one in terms of fruit. With about 50% other vegetables made up the bulk of production, less than a third was the amount of tomatoes. While the productions of apples and other fruit were almost the same, with slight difference 3 %-(30%). The most shrinking feature of the chart is that carrots, onions' prooportions were with marginal difference with about 10%, as well as peaches and pears approximetely 8%. In comparison with fruit, vegetables onions, carrots, lettuces as such, were almost one fourth of the diagram, however fruit such as oranges, peaches, pears and strawberries made up one third of the chart. The lowest proportion of vegetables was the amount of onions around 4%, respectively, in terms of fruit. Strawberries is the lowest one about 2. 6%.
