Overall, highest number of people feel that the high cost of living in the island is disadvantageous whereas food quality is considered as least disadvantageous item. As for the advantages is concerned, high number of visitors considered residents of the island as its plus point. As we can see, about half of the respondents believe that the high cost of living is a negative point and a quarter of visitors consider available entertainment options as a disadvantage. In addition, about 15% respondents mentioned weather as one of the most common disadvantage. Lastly, one in ten persons considered food quality as a negative aspect of the Bowen Island. Now coming to the advantages, about 42% people visiting the island feel that the residents are the biggest plus point, which is followed by the scenery on the island, getting the vote of just above a third. Finally, good accommodation and culture is considered as advantageous by nearly the same number of tourists, 11% and 12% respectively.
