The pie charts below show the data regarding the time people spend on smartphones and tablets, divided by category. 8aJaB
Overall, as illustrated, people spent much time on smartphones and tablets to play games and browse social media but little time on reading news. There were also differences in the amount of time they spent for music and utilities payments. Gaming took the first place, as people spent most of their time on these gadgets for this activity, it accounted for 35 percent on smartphones and 57 percent on tablets. Social networking was on the second place, it made up to 29 percent of the amount of time spent on smartphones and 15 percent on tablets.
However, despite the large amount of time they spent on gaming and social networking, people spent dramatically much lesser time on reading news. This activity only held up to 3 percent on smartphones, and 4 percent on tablets.
There were some contradictions in the time these persons spent on smartphones and tablets for music and videos and utilities payments. On smartphones, while spending a decent amount of time for utilities, which was 20 percent, they only spent scarcely 8 percent for music. Nevertheless, on tablets, the time spent for music was 13 percent, but for utilities, it was merely 3 percent.
