The pie chat illustrates the percentage of seven different food items by the whole world population. This data depicts information about year 2014. Overall, the chart provides information regarding 7 types of food, i. e vegetables, bread, cereals, meat, rice, fruits, and fish consumed all over the world. The data neglects other food items apart from these consumed during 2014. The most widely consumed food in the world is meat. It is eaten by more than a quarter of the world's population. The second widely consumed food after meat is Fish. Fish is also eaten by more than one-fourth of the globe. It's consumption is approximately 27%. When fish and meat are combined together, they accumulate around 58% of the food consumption for 2014. Therefore, these two non-vegetarian items are eaten by more than half of the population globally. However, The remaining variety of food seems to be less popular. Amongst the 7 food item, Rice makes up the smallest proportion of the chart. Since only consumed by 2. 5% of the world's population. And Bread, which is the second lowest ranking food, shares only 5. 5 % of the total world food consumption. Although, the difference between consumption of rice and bread is only 3 %. Vegetables, fruits and cereals shares about the same percentage of food utilization by global public. These items have around 10-11% consumption.
