Republic of Korea has the highest percentage (69%) among the 3 countries which waste products are converted into recycling then followed by Sweden (25%). While, United Kingdom do not have recycling process at all. On the other hand, United Kingdom has a large number of the population which buries it on the underground. In Sweden, half of the population prefer burying as a method. Whereas in Korea, slightly under 30% prefers to do the same thing.
It is evident that in Sweden 55% of waste products are usually handled through recycling. It is less than in Korea with only 22%. Also, United Kingdom is the only country having four process involved in dealing with dangerous waste products like recycling, burying underground, performing chemical treatment and dumping at sea with both 8%.
Lastly, the practice of incineration is much lower both in the Republic of Korea 9% and United Kingdom with 2%. In conclusion, Sweden has one fifth of the population using incineration as a means of disposing waste products, making it the highest among the 3 countries.
