The pie chart gives information on UAE government spending in 2000. The total budget was AED 315 billion. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The pie chart provides information on where the money is spent by UAE government in the year 2000. The total amount spent was AED 315 billion on ten different areas namely, Law and order, Education, Industry and Agriculture, Defence, Other expenditure, Debt interest, Housing the heritage, Social security, and, Transport. Firstly, more than half of the total budget was spent on three sectors namely, Social security (100 billion) followed by Health and personal social services (53 billion), and Education (38 billion). However, the rest of the amount was distributed amongst seven other sectors lowest being Transport, thereafter, Industy and Agriculture where just 13 billion was spent followed by Housing the heritage with 15 biliion expenditure. Law and order took away 17 billion and Defence incurred an expense of a billion less than other expenditure. Overall, the highest amount (AED 100 billion) was spent on Social security.
