The data provided to us portrays the major causes of land degradation in three regions namely north America, Europe and oceania which is commonly referred to as large group of islands in the south pacific which includes Australia and new zeland The data has been provided to us in two dimensions – worldwide and by regions. On the worldwide scale, we observe that overgrazing is the primary reason for land degradation followed by deforestation and over cultivation. There are secondary reasons which contributes to 7% of the cause. These activities disrupt the balance of the biosphere which tends to reduce the productivity arte of the land. While analysing the dta provided for the causes of land degradation by region, we observe that Europe is the most affected region seconded by oceania and followed by north America Europe is mostly affted die to deforestation and over cultivation while oceania is majorly affected by overgrazing.
