The pie chart below shows information about where coffee is produced, consumed and where its profit goes. XnD8N
Two of the provided pie charts compare the shares of several nations in producing and consuming coffee. The other one illustrates the profit proportions received by four major agents. Overall, it stands out from the charts that the largest proportion of coffee production and consumption are done by South America and Central America respectively. Moreover, the revenue received by the explorers of coffee is the lowest amount while its sellers achieve the highest profit. Considering coffee producers and consumers, although South Americans produce most of the coffee, with 44%, they drink only one-fourth of this figure which makes them the second lowest consumers. Conversely, Central America produces 17% of the whole coffee while its people are the greatest consumers drinking three times more than this figure. Japanese and other Asians provide the remaining 33% of coffee, and the other 39% of coffee production takes place in Africa, Asia and Oceania with 19%, 18% and 2% respectively. Considering the profit of coffee business, more than a half of the whole profit goes to coffee shippers, which is 55%, while the producers only receive one-fifth of this amount. The benefit share of explorers is the smallest proportion with 7%, and near four times of this figure goes to the other group of this business, who are the sellers.
