The table gives information about the propotion of 6-11 years old and 12-16 years old boys who taked part in 5 different sports in the UK in 2010. It is clear that football was the sport that attracted boys in 2 age groups the most and swimming seemed to be the least interesting sport for these boys among 5 different sports. Beside, boys at aged 6-16 are likely to do more sports than boys at aged 12-16. From 6-11 years old, the percentage of boys who playing football was the highest, at 87%, almost twice times higher than the second popular sport which was cricket with 45% of boys. And the figures for rugby and swimming were the lowest, at 23% and 19% respectively. 78% of 12-16 years old boys enjoyed playing football, compared to just 34% of boys playing cricket and 25% of boys playing basketball at the same age. From 12-16 years old, rugby and swimming still had the lowest propotion of boys who interested in these sports, which account for 21% and 19% respectively.
