The line graph illustrates how many tourists visited a Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017. Overall, the total number of visitors increased significantly over the period given. Although some visitors staying on cruise ships was initially most popular, it was overtaken by some visitors who stayed on cruise ships in last 2017. In 2010, the total number of visitors to the Caribbean island began at 1 million, which rose slightly in the next two years (1. 5 million) before increasing significantly with a margin of 1. 25 million in 2014. Despite this upward trend unchanged from 2015 to 2016, there is an increase in the final year by 3. 5 million visitors. The two categories of visitors in the initial period were begun with three-quarters and one-quarter millions for the tourist staying on the island and staying on cruise ships respectively. The trend of the former category remains steady in 2011 (0. 75 million) than the figure maintains the same level throughout 2013 and 2014 (1. 5 million) after growing moderately in the previous year. While the latter category rose slightly in 2011, it declined and back to the initial level in 2012 before growing significantly until 2015 with 1. 25 million. This trend outstripped the number of tourists who stayed on a Caribbean island over the next year and reach to peak in 2017 (2 million) while the remaining category had a decrease from 2015 to 2016 before rising slightly to the same level in the final years (1. 5 million).
