The line chart compares the various kinds of media to the hours spent by an average person per week from 1990-1995. We can see that from the statistics that's been shown we are comparing four kinds of media: television, internet, radio, and printed material. Both hours spent on television and printed material saw it decline for the past 15 years. Even though printed material seemed to start its the decline in between 1995-2000, the trend from 2000-2005 was somewhat unpredictable unlike television media whose trend continued to be in a downslope in between 1995-2000 and reaching its lowest level in 2005. The time spent on radio and the internet showed the opposite trend from television and printed material as radio has seen steady growth for the past 15 years albeit a minimal one. Meanwhile, hours spent on the internet saw a surge in hours spent after 2000 showing its popularity with people. Overall, the emergence of the internet continued to be the most popular of all forms of media amongst people in the 21st century, while time spent on other forms of media continued to either decline or has not seen much change in the past years.
