The line graph illustrates the US consumers' average annual expenditures on cellular and residential phone services between the first decade of the 21 century. Overall, the two lines cover opposite paths during this period. The cell phones' outlay grows very fast, coerently with the evolution of the mobile technology. While, the lanline's expenditures falls a bit slower during the 10 years. From 200$ in 2001, the mobile phones' raise grows linearly until it reaches 750$ in 2010, with only two flat years, between 2002 and 2003, and between 2007 and 2008. From 2003 to 2007 the growth increases considerably, earning 500$ in few years. The slope of residential phones' is pretty constant, from 700$ in 2001 to 400 $ in 2010, only between 2006 and 2007 the fall is more consistent. Lines intersect in 2006, in this year both mobile phones' and residential phones' consumers spend about 500$ annual in the average.
