Education is a weapon that countries use to face life's challenges. These graphs show the percent of educated women in two different years. The number of learned women rises over time. In 1945, living requirements were simple. The family was in need of a house to live in and a farm to eat from. They thought there was no need for learning. As we can see in figure 1, two-thirds of the women in some lands only finished their third grade or never went to school at all -- 35%. The females at this time could hardly read or write. After fifty years in 1995, however, the situation was different. With world development, living requirements changed. The family not only needs a roof to stay under. They also need a car to drive to work. The number of educated females hit the sky. Half of them finished their first degrees. Meanwhile, there are no more females who didn't pass their sixth year or even didn’t go to school. Women empower ourselves with learning. We didn’t stay in the past, we moved with world changes. We realized that education is as the key to life as the weapon in the warrior’s hand in battle.
