The bar chart reveals information on the number of Internet users in four distinctive groups age, from 1998 to 2000. Units are measured in percent %. From an overall perspective, while the figure for people less than 15 years old and 50 or more were similar in terms of a general rise, two remaining groups experienced the downward trends. In 1998, a half of internet users was people in the age ranging from 16 – 30 years, appeared to be by far the highest rate with 53%, followed by that of people aged 32 to 50 years with 41%. Nevertheless, the number of Internet user who are 50 or more was found to be the second lowest one with 4%, doubling the corresponding figure for their counterparts who are less than 15. From then one, the number of Internet user in 16 – 30 group age decline gradually and stood at only 44% in 2000. In contrast, the period 1999 - 2000 witnessed an exponential growth in the figure for people less than 15 and 50 or more, from about 8% to 9% and 10%, respectively.
