The maps illustrates the information about the development which had been done away in the town of newport from 1980 to 2010. The first glance at the illustration reveals that both roads on northeast and south east were joined together in 2010 and the area of parking was minimised and placed near the hospital. Moreover, the trees near the school road were removed and the area was used for schoolground and university. Furthermore, the opposite side from pond had been transformed into appartments and industry. Shifting towards the remaining information the south side of newport, the railway station was moved near to the opposite of unversity in2010. The trees were removed from the south of the town and fence was enlarged from east to west. Overall it is clear that major changes took place in the town of newport between 1980 and 2010 especially in north side.
