The maps show the developments which took place in the coastal of town Laguna Beach between 1950, 1970 and 1990. In 1950, the town was a much greener and enough empty spaces with a lot of sand dunes, woodland and Beach hut. There is also have narrow road which people use this road for go to beach area and back from northern-east side of map. After 20 years town experienced dramatic changes, in the woodland all trees are cut down and cleared for caravan park. Also some sand dunes cleaned due to building of Villas. But we can see there some good changes also, for example beach huts substituted with big Villas, road is expanded for cars. In 1990 there was enormous changes. Caravan Park replaced with car parks, Villas are changed to three storey Hotel which named “Hotel Laguna”. Near to the Hotel we can see new created Pool area. Furthermore, the landscape gardens was established in the area of sand dunes which is located the right side of Hotel. A Surf School was built at the side of sea. Overall, a comparison of the three maps reveals a change from just beach area to mix-usable and different services area.
