Overall, the amount of minutes of the local calls was more than the other two types all the periods while usage of the national and international, and the mobiles were increasing. The total minutes of the local calls increased from just over 70 billion minutes in 1995 to the peak at 90 billion minutes in 1999. Even if, it steadily dropped to slightly over 70 billion minutes in 2002 but its total call minutes was still more than the other two types during the periods. The total call minutes of the national and international started from just under 40 billion minutes in 1995 and steadily increased to just over 60 billion minutes in 2002. In the same way, the total call minutes of mobiles slightly grow from under 10 billion minutes in 1995 to over 10 billion minutes in 1999 and it considerably increased to more than 40 billion minutes in 2002.
