The given to maps illustrate the present centre of a small town named Islip and the proposed changes for the future. Overall, it is clear that many changes are planned with the principal changed being the construction of a ring road around the town centre. According to the first map, there is a single main road, which runs from east to west and several shops are built both sides of that way. Moreover, northern area contains a country side, while the southern side is covered with housing estates. Addition to this, a school is located to the south-west corner, wherease there is a park in south-east side. Various modifications are planned for the future. To begin with, the main road will be rebuilt into a circular dual carriageway, which will contain a lot of new developments. Moreover, shops which are in the north in present, will be demolished to construct bus station, shopping centre, car park, new housing and path for pedestrians. In contrast southern side shops will remain same.
