the maps show changes which occurred between 1980 and 2005. It is evident that a lot of trees were cut down and two storey houses were converted into multi-storey buildings. To begin with, at the beginning of the period the town was a much greener residential area with a large number of trees and individual houses, but during the next 25 years the town experienced a number of dramatic change. The most considerable is that all of the trees were cut down which grew in the south of the River Alanah, with all the houses along the railway line being destroyed and replaced by skyscrapers. Moreover, in the new industrial zone lots of factories were built in the south of the river. In the north of the town new stadium, parking station and park were constructed in 2005. New stretch of railway form the river running directly north. A marine was also built at the south of the river.
