The maps show the development of the area from 1995 until now. It is well showed that the area went through a massive transformation over time, becoming noticeably less green and more urbanized The only thing that still in the same place after some decades is the river and the Ashford town. In the past, people have to used to travel across the river by ferries but now, they have built two new bridges including a road bridge and a foot bridge. Therefore, the locals can travel across the river with land vehicles or even on foot and those two bridges also that leads to the city. On the left side of the river, trees were removed to build a big car park and they added a road led to the foot bridge. On the right side of the river, they have built a lot more houses on both sides of the road bridge, especially on the right side and also built some new apartments near Ashford. Furthermore, there is a car park near Ashford and it has a road lead to the road bridge. On the left side of the road bridge, there’s a new yatch marina another car park was built
