The two maps indicate how the seaside resort of Templeton changed for a thirteen-year period. In 2013 the resort was considerably larger and more urbanized than it was in 2000. To begin with, in 2000 the seaside resort had many more plants and trees but during the year a significant part of them had been demolished. In the west, several houses were removed and a new road was build right next to the river. Also, a new supermarket was constructed as well as few blocks of flats across the street. By 2013, an airport just south-west of the school had been built. In addition, in the south-east, a lot of trees had been cut down and the forest had been replaced with a factory. A ferry was also added on in the south-east of Templeton. The railway path had been extended from the east to the west, crossing the river at the junction with the sea coastline. Overall, the urban area was greatly expanded between 2000 and 2013.
