By 2013, an airport just south-west of the school had been built. In addition, in the south-east, a lot of trees had been cut down and the forest had been replaced with a factory. A ferry was also added on in the south-east of Templeton. The railway path had been extended from the east to the west, crossing the river at the junction with the sea coastline.
Overall, the urban area was greatly expanded between 2000 and 2013.
