The maps illustrate the condition of a center in a small town now and how it is planned to be in the future. The town Islip will go through several changes in the future. To begin with, the current state of the center dedicates a higher portion of the area for housing. On its East there is a park and a school at the south corner. Moreover, there are shops on both sides of the narrow main road. The edges of the roads have been connected to Park and the Housing area respectively. Furthermore, the countryside is located on the norther part of the shops. The planned development of the town center seems multi segmented. There will be a dual carriageway connecting instead of a narrow main road. Additionally, there will be a walkway for the pedestrians in between the shops and the shopping center. However, on the north of the pedestrian’s passage there will not only be the shopping center, but also the bus station, parking area for cars and the new housing area. At the bottom of the shops there will be another housing area along with the old one and another parking spot right at the corner. Although the school and the housing area will remain at the same spot, all the other things will be changed according to the new development plan.
