The maps below illustrate the changes that have been made on an island due to the building of tourist facilities. There was considerable development of the settlement over these years and the island was gradually transformed into a tourist resort. The island was deserted before the construction of the tourist facilities with only some palm trees. Now, there is a reception in the centre of the island and a restaurant on the north side. Furthermore, there is now a vehicle track that starts from the pier and ends outside of the restaurant. Furthermore, fifteen houses have been build for the sake of tourists. On the north-west side of the island, there is a beach where tourists can go swimming. Finally, a footpath has been constructed on the west and east side of the reception, providing access to the beach.
