The maps below show Southside, a shopping mall, as it is now and plans for development

Basically, both maps show a shopping center in Southside in its current state and a plan of reconstruction and expansion in the future. Overall, the plaza will undergo significant changes as a plethora of stores will be added, while fashion stores will replace eateries, an expansion of the car park will consequently lead to the replacement of the fitness center. Currently, the Southside mall houses about five-six shops [a café, department store, a noodle shop, supermarket, a restroom, and a play area]. Also, for example, the health spa can be seen in the southern area, next to the parking garage merely opposite the entrance of the plaza. Most significantly, is the golf course, as well as the recreation ground at the east end of the galleria. However, the map illustrates that after the reconstruction, only the supermarket, the convenience, and the doorway will not be affected, whereas, the parking lot will be augmented as it will be extended to the south to replace the fitness center. Additionally, due to the proposed development, the entire building will be expanded and consequently, it will overtake the land previously occupied by the golf and park. Importantly, the mall which previously housed eateries will be replaced by a cosmetic store, two shoe stores, and a gift shop. On the other hand, the children's play area is bound to be replaced by a beauty salon, while the café takes the place of the information center. Also introduced, are three fashion stores, while the department store, in turn, will acquire its own entrance with a noteworthy space enlargement. To summarize, the Southside shopping center is set to undergo development in the near future with remarkable improvements to the building structure, addition of new stores and replacement of a few outlets.
