The map depicts the changes that have taken place in Stokeford village from 1930 to 2010 in the course of time. Firstly, the village had more farmlands during 1930, which were later used for the construction of houses by 2010. In contrast, there were not many houses during 1930 in the village. Secondly, the Post office, as well as the Bridge, remained in the same position over the course of time. The shops which were nearby the post office were diminished by 2010. Thirdly, the primary school remained in the same area, On the contrary, the area allocated for the school has been expanded, and two new blocks are constructed beside the main building. Large houses in the garden area were converted to retirement homes moreover, the new blocks were also added to that area. To conclude, the river stone, bridge, school building, along with post office lasted in the same place over the years, On the other hand, Greenlands were replaced with concrete blocks.
