The two maps compare the modifications made on a hospital building plan in the current day with that in 2005.
It can be observed that, the hospital has been expanded with the addition of a minor operations room and the car parking area has been extended to accommodate 30 cars instead of previously available 12 car parking spaces.
In 2005, the entrance was on the front side of the hospital, which was now shifted to south-west corner of the structure. Previously, the reception desk situated almost the middle of the hospital, was transferred and positioned to the new entrance area. In addition, a small children’s play area is also provided near the entry area. Also, the entire seating arrangement has been renovated and the no of seats were increased from 11 to 14.
Interestingly, the office room was also refurbished from its typical rectangular shape to a trapezoidal one. Although, there were 3 consulting rooms in 2005, they were resized attain 4 such rooms without any addition of area. Finally, a minor operations room was built in the north- west corner of the medical centre next to the physiotherapy room.
