The two pie charts provide information about the proportion of household energy usage and the amount of greenhouse gases produced in Australia. Overall, other appliances are the most significant household energy used, whereas cooking and standby is the least used energy in Australia. In comparison standby is the smallest segment of the greenhouse gas, while heating and cooling is the largest segment produced. The most striking feature of the chart is that the energy heating and cooling used is 20%, whereas the greenhouse gas produces almost double (38%) of it. The water heating percentage of the greenhouse gas was 25% which is slightly more than the energy produced (23%). The third most energy used was other appliances. It consumed 24% of the energy which was quite high compared to the greenhouse gas which was produced at 16%. The greenhouse emission produced 7% of lighting and refrigerator, while the usage was 11% and 12% respectively. The amount of cooked used was 4%, whereas the amount of greenhouse gas produced was slightly increased by 1%. The greenhouse gas generates 3% of standby, while the energy needed was slightly more (5%).
