The line graph shown below illustrates the information about the condition of unemployment in Australia for the year 2012. The overall trend depicts that the sources and opportunities of employment are less available in rural areas than in urban locations. However, the change for both urban and rural areas is not regular. In the beginning of the year the percentage of unemployment in countryside is 6. 8% which is quite higher than the percentage of unemployment in cities which is only 2. 1%. With the passage of first quarter of year, the percentage of unemployment in cites increase whereas the percentage in rural areas drop. In cities this percentage rises to 4% and in rural areas this ratio declines to 5% by the end of second quarter of the year. then again this percentage in countryside rises up to 5. 2% and the proportion of unemployment in urban areas drop to almost 2% when the third quarter of year has passed. the percentage remains constant in rural areas but increase again in urban areas to 4% by the completion of forth quarter of the year.
