The line chart depicts the quantity of offenses using illegal drugs on a yearly basis over a 15-year period from 1991 to 2005.
As is illustrated by the graph, the number of drugs arrests showed a generally upward trend with unpredictable changes throughout given years.
The number of illegal drugs arrests on an annual basis started at 10 cases in the first year of the period, followed by a gradual increase of approximately 12 cases to 1994. Between 1994 and 1995, there was a dramatic climb in the number of annual arrested cases from roughly 22 offenses to 60 offenses - a rise of nearly 175%. Then the figure remained static in the next three years before a significant fall in the number of drugs offenses was witnessed, amounting to 21 cases in 1999.
From 1999 to 2002, the data for arrested cases experienced a sharp oscillation ranging between 70 arrests and 15 arrests. After that, there was a slight fluctuation with a downward tendency onwards, finishing at 40 cases in 2005.
