The line graph gives information about the quantity of energy extracted from coal in Sweden, France, Denmark and Germany between 1995 to 2010 which is expressed in percentage. Overall, it is observed that in 2007 the energy produced plunged to about 5% in Germany. To begin, the energy extracted from coal began at 60% in 1995in Denmark whilst Germany recorded a value of 55% in the same year. Both countries fell dramatically to about 40% and 35% respectively in 1998. Following this, the production of energy from coal in Denmark and Germany decreased gradually over the 6years. Energy production from coal in Germany hit a low of about 5% in 2007 and rose rose to 18% whilst Denmark remained constant between 2004 to 2007 and finally dropped low to 10% in 2010. In contrast, Sweden and France stood at 35% and 30% of energy production levels separately in 1995. Over the next 6years, energy extraction from coal declined gradually among the two countries. Their energy production remained constant till the end of the period and Sweden recorded a value of about 28% which is the highest among the four countries whilst France had 25% to be the second highest.
