The line graph gives information about the consumption of renewable energy accounting the total energy between 1971 and 2011 in six different countries, namely: Finland, Denmark, France, Germany, United States and United Kingdom. Overall, it can be seen from the chart that the highest amount of renewable energy was used in Finland; whereas, the number of renewable energy consumed in the United Kingdom made up the lowest amount. In 1971, the percentage of renewable energy used in Finland, Denmark and the United States was 25%, 15% and nearly 5% respectively. There had been fluctuations in the number of renewable energy used in these three countries in the first half of the given period. However, in the last half, they became more stable and they both reached their peak in the last year of the given period. The percentage of renewable energy consumed in France, Germany and United Kingdom in 1971 was around 10%, nearly 5% and a little more than 0% respectively. There was a light decline in the amount of renewable energy consumed in the first half of the given time. However, they both had dramatic increases in the following part of the period and they also reached their peak in 2011 as Finland, Denmark and the United States did.
