It is notable that the figure for white bread witnessed the most significant growth over the period. In 2001, the price of white bread and rye bread was 0, 1 euros/kg and 0. 6 euros/kg respectively. Over the next 4 years, the figure of white bread saw a peak at 1, 2 euros/kg in 2002 before declining to 0, 7 euros/kg by 2005. Moreover, there was a fluctuation between 0, 6 euros/kg and 1 euro/kg in the price of rye bread from 2001 to 2004 and then grew to 1, 1 euros/kg by 2005.
