Overall, the unemployment rate in the rural areas has slightly decreased over the quarter. But comparatively higher than urban areas. while employments in urban years have received ups and downs throughout the year. By the end of the year rate of unemployment in both rural and urban are almost identical. As can be seen, in the urban areas at the beginning of the year it was about 2 percent then reached the peak at 4 percent in the span of 6 months. Before drastically dropping to 2 percent in the third quarter. later on, it was fluctuating between the third and fourth quarter and then rose to around 4percent. On the other hand, rural areas only started at about 2percent this figure then declined slowly in the second quarter. The unemployment rate then rose a little in the third quarter and remained stable throughout the last quarter.
