the line graph presents the production and consumption of oil barrels per days in china from 1982 to 2006. overall, according to the graph, although the two figures started nearly to 2 millions unit per day in 1982, they had been variate throughout the whole given period. it can be seen that between 1992 and 1994 the rate of production was higher than the consumption one. in contrary, between 1994 and 2006 the rate of production was the lower. throughout the period, the figure of oil production was ranging from 2 millions unit to 4 millions. the production line considerably rose up in 1986. before experiencing a plateau to 1994. after that it was witnessing a slight increase up to 2006. regarding the consumption line, it saw a steady rate at 2 millions unit until 1990. after this stability, the consumption faced a remarkable growth and had peaked 6 millions unit by 2006.
