The line chart displays three types of crime that happened in London from 2003 to 2012. Overall, armed robbery dropped significantly over the time while the number of assault had increased slightly and the number of murder stayed relatively stable over the period. Armed robbery was the highest among all other crimes in the beginning of the recorded year and it was just under 3, 500 cases per year. From 2004 the number decreased sharply and reached the lowest point to just above 1, 000 cases. In addition, the number of armed robberies dropped to the second highest around the middle of 2006. The number rose slightly to around 1, 500 and remained closely around this number until 2012. In contrast, The number of assaults fluctuated between 2003 and 2009, and it was around 2000 to 2450 cases. In the middle of 2006 assault became the highest committed crime in London. Despite some fluctuations the cases of assault increased gradually after 2009 and it reached to around 2750 in 2012. Cases for murder remained the lowest in the recorded period. It was just above 500 cases in 2003 and then it increased to around 950 cases in 2005. After 2005, the number went down gradually to 500 in 2008 and then stayed relatively stable between 500 to 700 throughout the next four years.
