The line chart compares and contrasts data on the changes in the number of fish and meat consumed by a specific nation over a 25-year period, from 1979 to 2004. Generally speaking, the consumption of beef, lamp and fish constantly decreased through the period shown while that of chicken dramatically increased. More specifically, there was a volatility in the number of people consuming beef from 1979 to 1985. From then, the volume of beef consumed significantly declined, with the figures at above 100 grams in 2004. The number of lamb and fish used also dropped constantly. The consumption of chicken, on the other hand, show an upward trend. The number of consumers purchasing chicken was only 150 grams in 1979. Over the years, more and more people bought chicken. The number of people purchasing chicken reach its peak at aroung 240 grams.
