The information about the number of sales of children’s books, adult fiction and educational books from 2002 to 2006 is depicted by the line graph. The data has been calibrated in millions of dollars. Overall, it can be clearly witnessed from the graph that the sales of children’s and educational books showed an upward trend whereas a downward trend was reported in the case of Adult fiction. In 2002, Adult fiction was on the top with a sale of 45 million dollars but then it declined significantly and reached at a low of 38 million dollars in 2003. The figures again rose between 2003 and 2004 and reached at around 40 million dollars. From 2004 it started to decline continuously and by the end of period it accounted for 30 million dollars. On the other hand, in the case of Children’s and Educational books the sales were low in the beginning of the period as compared to Adult fiction and it constitutes to 32 and 25 million dollars in 2002 respectively. The sales of both kind of books increased gradually and reached 42 and 32 million dollars in the year 2003. While the Children’s books continuously increased over the period of time and reached at a high of 55 million dollars in 2006. On the contrary, the Educational books showed some fluctuations and there was decline till 2005 after which it again started to increase and rose to 32 million dollars by the end.
